This lid is actually leak proof! Throw it in your backpack with your towel - it’ll still be dry! And sipping through the straw is a quite nice way to stay hydrated.

I desperately wanted the blush pink version but it wasn't in stock, so I talked myself out of the whole thing. My best friend surprised me with it two Christmases ago (she snagged it while it was briefly in stock, apparently) and it's still one of my favorite water bottles. Where I live is currently in a week of 90° weather, and it's not getting below 60° at night. I put ice and water in this thing last night before bed and it's STILL cold, at 2pm the next day. Highly recommend.
