This event is FREE! Refunds of $15 (not including the $2.85 Eventbrite fees) will be issued to those that attended and checked 48 hours after the event is over. For those that are a no show, you won't be issued a refund, and the amount of your ticket will go towards funding future non-profit events.

Join Wondery Adventure Maker Jennifer, a deaf community member, for a fun snowshoeing ASL event on Saturday, February 17th, at 10:00 am. Embrace the winter wonderland as we traverse the 3 mile Southern Meadow trail. Whether you're a seasoned snowshoer or a beginner, this event promises a memorable experience surrounded by nature's beauty. Don't miss out on the opportunity to connect with like-minded outdoor enthusiasts and support Wild Wings Inc.'s conservation efforts. Event FAQ

What is a snowshoeing hike? A snowshoeing hike is a winter outdoor activity where participants wear snowshoes to walk on snow-covered trails. It's a fun and accessible way to explore winter landscapes.
Do I need experience to join this event? No, prior snowshoe experience is not required.

Can I rent snowshoes?

Yes, we offer snowshoe rentals for participants who don't have their own. Typically rentals are $5 per hour but price may vary.

What should I bring? Dress warmly in layers, wear waterproof boots, and bring essentials like gloves, a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
Are there age restrictions for this event? This event is suitable for all ages.
How long is the hike? We'll be hiking on Southern Meadow, which is 3 miles.
Can I bring my pet to the event? Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the group hike.
What happens in case of inclement weather? The event may be postponed or canceled in case of severe weather conditions. However, if we receive less than 6 inches of snow, we will hike without snowshoes. Participants will be notified in advance, and alternative arrangements may be made.
Can I bring food or snacks? Feel free to bring snacks and water.
Are there restrooms on the trail? Wild Wings Inc. has restroom facilities.
Is there parking? Yes, parking is extremely easy and there are plenty of spaces.
